  It will be interesting to see how PA will turn out. I still see PA as a blue state. Even if McCain get's Florida, he still needs PA to win.

  is there anyway to verify any religion as having the truth?

  is it just a feeling some have that they get from believing something "spiritual" caused them to have a relationship with a god.. the preacher of the church that my wife and i attend said that jesus was god today.

  i was reading in the bible about how jesus would leave his disciples to pray.

  We really have no way to prove that ANY religion or belief is the actual Truth. Through the centuries, there have been many people who saw fit to change, alter, or destroy anything they didn't believe in. Too much time has passed. I guess, as another commented in this thread, all we have to go on is our own Faith. If only Humans can learn to respect other Faiths!!

  No children until the new system---Has this changed?

  i have noticed that the "wait until the new system for children" montra has seemed to go away in the past few years from the wt.

  i am thinking that they realized that if the dubs stop having children, then they will stop growing in numbers.

  as a result, they have stopped putting in writing that the dubs should wait to have children.

  I said this on another thread. The Armageddon is just around the corner line is nothing but pure Bull. I could never understand that type of thinking. IF they have the truth, they have Jah's Blessing, right? During the big "A", wouldn't they "dwell 'neath God's Wing? ...They even sing about that in the song "Jehovah is my Refuge." So, what do they have to fear? They and the Child would be protected by Jehovah. Isn't this what they are supposed to believe? Or is it that they do not trust their own faith?

  today, mr & mrs kabong celebrate 26 years of marriage.

  this is the marriage the elders in our congregation said that we wouldn't last 6 months.

  thank god, we already knew they were full of sh*t. .

  After all these years together, I can honestly say I'd do it all over again if I could.
